ARKSlylvania has finally come to an end. What started as the Top Notch (-TN-) Ark Server Cluster and finished as ARKSylvania has reach the end of its life. With the release of Ark: Survival Ascended, running the old Ark: Survival Evolved servers is no longer viable - too few people playing to sustain them. And so it is with fond farewell that we post the contents of the save files from ARKSylvania.
Our continued existence with Ark Survival Ascended (ASA) is unknown at this time. We are waiting for a number of items with ASA to be resolved before determining if ARKSylvania will host an ASA server. Details will be discussed in Discord.
Instructions: The server configuration files are split between launch options and INI files. The INI files go in your ShooterGame/Saved/Config directory under the server type you are running (LinuxServer; WindowsServer; or if you are playing single player, in your game configuration folder). The launch options are described using the Ark Manager config files. The mods are listed numerically (if you browse Steam mods, the number is the in the URL of the mod; just replace it with the number in the list in the config file to see the correct mod).
Because of how the saves are done, you will need to recombine the Paintings with the map content. The Paintings go in each map folder (same location as the .ark files). If there is anything missing, let me know as I have a full and total backup of the server from October 15th and again from November 11th.
Included are also some scripts that I wrote to manage and setup the server. These will work on a Linux Server only.
Sorry that we don't have older versions of Fjordur posted. We do have a October 15th backup I can post if absolutely needed.
